This all levels yoga class series will explore the various asanas and variations available with the yoga chair–a versatile and effective tool! While traditionally “chair yoga” is seen as a form of yoga appropriate for those with limited capacity to move, in this series we will be using the chair in an untraditional and more advanced way to open the body. The chair will act as a tool to support and align our physical bodies, revealing imbalances and allowing us to work with the support from the chair to correct them. Each week we will discover different ways to use the chair in our most often used yoga asanas!

Week 5: March 30, Supported Inversions
