Two weeks ago we hosted a wonderful class in our Om Maui studio that was a brilliant success thanks to our guest instructor, Penny Thomas. Her generous heart taught a self defense workshop to our Om family, where participants of all ages had the opportunity to learn skills (from a world class jiu jitsu champion, no less!) to protect themselves in the face of danger.
Donations were gratefully accepted and all of the proceeds from Penny’s workshop went to benefit orphans in her native South Africa. Our beloved Tai Souza took photos of Penny and our Om ohana in action that we couldn’t wait to post. Thanks again to Penny for sharing her knowledge and skills, and to all who attended…we can’t wait to host her again!
