Yoga: Level 1– 60-70 min
Level 1 classes build a strong foundation for the practice of Yoga through the introductory aspects of breath, basic postures and proper alignment. Intelligently designed sequences will release tight muscles, allowing you to work on your flexibility and range of motion to ease pain in the body and between the ears. In this class you will safely and effectively develop a solid base for your yoga practice at a moderate pace.
Yoga: Level 2– 60-70 min
This yoga class focuses on physical and mental strength building exercises and postures. Level 2 classes build on the asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) that are learned in Level 1. In Level 2 classes, these practices are refined by connecting the postures and breath through a series of sequential movements that generate heat in the body, help build muscular strength & flexibility, bringing relaxation to your mind, body and spirit. Students should be familiar with Sun Salutations, basic standing poses and ready to try inversions.
Restorative Yoga – 60 min
This relaxing yoga practice will help restore your body back to balance. Yoga props are used to support the body so you can hold poses for longer with less strain and therefore allow your body to open and relax deeper in each pose.
Rope Yoga Wall – 60 min
This class focuses on stretching and relaxing your mind, body and spirit. It is based on asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) utilizing the Yoga Rope Wall, designed by yogi Guru Mr. Iyengar, and traditional yoga asanas on the mat. The Yoga Rope Wall will help you access your asanas on a deeper level with better alignment. Releasing your tight muscles while bringing relaxation to your mind with breath, this class will take your yoga practice to the next level. All levels welcome.
